They don't all leak. Not sure of the variable, may be actuator mounting or travel.
If you can find what you want in stock, just check for defroster leaking cold air w/ ac on.
I may drive 2hrs to Miami to a large dealer (
244 - 2018 Camaros currently in stock -

45 SS's) to find a defect free unit.
