I love the alcantara, but I understand that some don't. Totaly personal preference. What would be great is if GM did what Porsche does with it's GT cars: alcantara is standard, but leather wheel/shifter are no cost options. Not many companies offer the level of individual personalization that Porsche does though (it comes at a heafty price).
