Quite the contrary, my friend. This is is not applicable to our configurations. They are loudest when first installed.
- Our break-in period is 800-1000 miles
- Carbon buildup alone takes the edge off exhaust tones
- Our systems that have resonators/mufflers packed with our special blend of acoustic material (read: not applicable to our 180 Technology resonators as they do not have packing in them) refine themselves significantly because of the type of packing we use. Typical packing material breaks down and shoots out the back after being beaten by exhaust pulses for a while. Ours does not -- it's a single strand fiber built for durability. It does everything but get weak and break down
