The SS has too much "gingerbread" on it that is now standard equipment, thus the big increase in base price, of course. It has a lot of things that I'm not interested in having on my car. Even before the pricing announcement, I had no intention of trading my 2012 SS for a 6th gen. But if something were to happen to my car and I needed to replace it, the new Camaro will be too expensive. I'd probably go for a Mustang.
