The Dodge Challenger and charger are continually rocking an older platform, especially for bigger guys!! This era of competition is the best it’s ever been and I would be proud to have any of them!!
If I had a garage, i would own a Challenger. My Mustang and my Camaro
both sit outside in the elements. The Camaro came form Georga, with an
almost perfect undercarriage, well PA weather will see to that. The '08 Mustang,
also came with very little rust under it. The passenger side door bottom was
the worst part. After taking it off in Muchigan, I saw it was a replacement door. The
car is Red, the inside of the door was primer black. Yeah, I drove to Michigan
to buy two '05 doors, with low miles; $200, guy even put them on for me while
I was there. The driver door is actually good, I kept it, but that Passenger
door was all rotted at the bottom. Whoever replaced it, didn't finish the
inside,so it rotted.

I had five VW Jettas prior, none of them rusted under, but I was putting 450
miles a day on them, four days a week. So, since I am using the Camaro as
the same work-horse, it should fair okay. The Mustang is getting oxidized because
it's just sitting there.

I drove to Ohio to pick up a new Rad and Condenser for the Mustang, $50 for
both new in their boxes! Now, I need a RAD for the Camaro, the RH side tank
top is leaking where the metal crimps to the plastic.

So, I do drive, a LOT, just not down to SC for some steroid injected keyboard
puncher.
