should work fine. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and try to crimp it down around the leaking spot but be careful not to make more holes. It helps reduce pressure on that spot helping the epoxy do its job. Also it well before the epoxy, antifreeze leaves a film that it wont stick to at all.
