ZL1 for me. I don’t track and never intend to again. It’s for adrenaline. I’m saving mine for a rainy day. I used to fly airplanes upside down and flip them around. Used up a lot of adrenaline.
I guess I don’t even get why GM would consider such a track focused car as the last Z28. From a financial perspective, I can only imagine it was a loss all the way around. I think it cool that they did make the last Z28, but I just don’t see it happening again. I’m guessing the Z28 brand will morph into a high performance street focused car again. Maybe replacing the ZL1 brand. The Z28 brand has much more continuity and brand recognition to the Camaro line than ZL1. After all, the ZL1 branding on the Camaro is a recent thing with the Gen5 being the first official branding.
