I'm waiting on CT to get back with me. I'd rather not deal with Hawk if I can help it. If I'm forced into using their product at the end of the day I'll suck it up and deal with it if there are no other options and I can run a Dtc30.

Well, Hawk would be a good resource just to confirm pad shape. If they give you a pad#, then it'll be a snap to find that shape from other vendors.
Since the pad on the J55 is a bit of a mystery, I can't speak to it. If it is the same compound as on the SS 1LE/ZL1/ZLE, that is the best all-around pad I have ever run. I have used Carbotech, Hawk and Powerstop on my 1LE and none of them are as good as the OEM Ferodo.
