Dude, your car is possessed. But I know a dude with a mean set of chicken bones...
All joking aside, did the car also change driving modes (i.e. Track)? Breaking at 75 on entering a hard turn at 45 might have caused the car to "think" it was at a track and enter a driving mode more appropriate for what you were doing - but that's me spitballing.
If it did then there's gotta be a servo (or maybe hydraulic?) moving the gear selector in and out of manual shift mode.
