I agree. I would not even call this "aggressive" driving. You have to really be in a putt-putt mindset to hit the skip shift.
I daily drive this car, and the only time I get the skip shift is when someone at an intersection does something stupid and i have to slow down. maybe once every two months. I love gadgets and would have no problem installing the eliminator, but does not strike me as worth the effort.
I trained myself to go 1-3 when it comes up. Again, not a big deal.
