As far as overtime goes, there's a price to be paid for putting in that many hours. I knew a guy once who regularly worked 80 hours a week. I joked to his son on how I hoped he kept a picture of his dad on the mantel so everyone could remember what he looked like.

Another guy I know worked two jobs--overnight and evenings-while his wife was home with no job. No problem at first until the wife started going on vacations alone. Uh huh!!! Sure! So go ahead and keep working all that overtime and pulling in all that money while neglecting your wife and family. Soon enough, the wife will find "other outlets" shall we say to make up for the missing man in her life. Is it worth it? I never heard anyone on their death bed say, "Man, I wish I would have worked more hours!"
