I had expected a lot worse going in, considering those numerous reviews comparing visibility to that of a tank or a submarine. Turned out those were way overrated, took me about ten minutes' driving after adjusting the mirrors properly to get a feel and it's not so bad at all. Never drove into or out of a parking garage with the car yet, though, so that might be a challenge.
On the other hand, IMO blind zone detection and lane change assist are a must in a car built like this. I don't fully understand why these features only come in the hefty convenience and lighting package along with tons of cosmetic upgrades, but it is what it is (and I ended up loving the illuminated sill plates, heh).
