I don't mind the way it looks but I wouldn't want to pay more for the Cadillac badge.
Visibility didn't hurt sales from 2010 - 2015. During that time the Camaro was referenced as a transformer, Scott Settlemire engaged with enthusiasts on this forum and overall GM cared about the product.
Ignoring your wife for years and then playing ignorant as to why things didn't work out is akin to what GM is doing with Camaro. Releasing it as an EV ensures it lacks key features that define the muscle car and instead of trying to compete in the segment they are trying to change what that segment of buyers should enjoy.
