If they have the solution to do a burn out to make your tires sticky I would do that first. At the line I would hold the brake and push the gas pedal to rev it to about 1200-1500 RPM- or somewhere off idle. When the light turns green let go of the brake and mash the gas, let the engine and trans do the rest. You could shift manually but I would think the auto doing the shifting would be faster.
