I was going to Xpel the frt cap, rockers, mirrors, rr bumper, pillars and the very top of the roof along with coating the rest. After multiple post about thin paint issues, the coating wasn't going to prevent that. Since I was getting quite a bit done with Xpel already I decided to get the whole car done.
Was the whole car needed? Probably not, I don't plan on selling this car anytime soon in fact I'm the type thats holds on to something for quite a while. So why not try to protect my high dollar investment as much as I can.
Can't give you any experience yet as it's only been a week since applied or than I can't even tell its on the car.
As mentioned above find a good installer.
