That oil doesn't carry the dexos rating (either 1 or 2), so it would void any existing warranty (your car may no longer under coverage).

I am running 5W-30 dexos1 oil that I can get at Costco for $25 for two 5qt jugs. Compared to the dexos2 0W-40 I can do four oil changes for the same cost as one.

The recommendation was always 5W-30 with a need to move to 0W-40 for track use. GM basically "swapped" and now says to use 0W-40 dexos2 but that 5W-30 dexos1 is fine for street use. If you take your car to a dealership for one of the "included" oil changes, odds are you're getting the 5W-30 dexos1 oil because that's all that GM will reimburse the dealership for. If you happen to get the 0W-40 dexos2, your dealer is kicking in the extra to cover the cost.
