Once they get confirmation from the installer about the damage, they will reimburse you part of what you spent on the replacement tire.
My Son ran over a something that gashed the side of a tire I bought from Tire rack. I bought a replacement from them, then filed a claim. I got 75% of my money back in about 3 weeks.
I never turn down a reimbursement, no matter how small.

yea i got them from a michelin dealer in sd and i needed it in a hurry so i didnt even keep it or think about trying to do a claim oh well lesson learned lol
