Unless something has changed with the 6th gen refresh, Nav can’t be officially added after the fact. Have to use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for navigation. It can be retrofitted into the vehicle via people like Ofer at gen5diy at a premium.
As for Nav question. If I recall correctly....The maps, when using Android Auto or CarPlay, at least in my 2017, wont show on the DIC or HUD, just the main infotainment screen. But onboard Nav will show in all 3.
