I didn't opt for navigation but I think it can update like the rest of the infotainment connected software. I plan to use home and work wi-fi to do updates while I'm parked. I've read the main manual several times but unfortunately I'll have to wait for delivery to read the infotainment and performance manuals. So hopefully that will work as I expect.
One thing I'm curious about is the navigation display in the instrument cluster and the heads up. You will definitely have nav data in those 2 locations but as I'm relying on my phone thru Android Auto I think I will only have it on the main infotainment screen.
