I was there when they were lifting it up and brought the proper pinch weld adapters etc. but my tech said he'd rather lift by the areas he did than the pinch welds which can tend to get wobbly. I double checked with him and he was certain. He changes oil on Camaros 5-10 times a day. He knows what he's doing. Lifting on aluminum components can and has damaged unibody. Also documented on these forums and in owners manual.
I would double check your door gaps and operation.
Oil change techs making up their own rules is precisely the reason that I will be the only one changing my oil. My dealer offers double (4) included initial maintenance visits.
