The last thread is probably one of the most interesting. There is actual data posted in that thread. I'm not saying it's conclusive, but it's the most data that has actually been collected and shared. Some people here complain there isn't a fair comparison and all that. Maybe that's true, however, this is the data that was shared, so you'll have to decide if you want to reach out to the Vendor or not. At least this Vendor is actually talking to our Community, which I think says a little something. At any rate: it's probably fair to state there isn't much conclusive, but the data is showing at least what this until is producing on mostly stock cars.

The SS and Z06 (I believe both of which are owed by Mike and his son at Magnuson) had minimal work done on these cars, which I think was great for these comparisons. I don't know much about the SS, but I know we were told the Z06 started completely stock. Then, Magnuson's 2300 kit was added. Then, Magnuson's 2650 was swapped on (had to trim OEM valve covers and replace the high-side fuel pump feed tube with a different one, but otherwise not mechanically different than OEM 1740) with a 103 and GMPP CAI, and it made more than 700 RWHP at about 6500 RPMs, which was something like 60-more that the 2300; something like that anyways. If you go through these threads, you'll see.

The bottom line is there is a lot to learn about the Magnum DIs. They are brand-new on the market. What is interesting and most important to me are CARB-compliance and NO TRIMMING THE HOOD TO FIT on ZL1. Not all kits are such, if that is important to you. It looks like the configuration for compliance is the way it is in the information above (about 700-RWHP or so). It is said that there is a way to add port-injection for the Magnuson (it doesn't look as easy as the E'force, but Mike (the President of Magnuson) said it can support port.

Good luck with your search
