My buddy's 2016 RAM can switch the rear backup camera on while driving any time. Same concept but on the infotainment screen instead of the mirror location. I have a 2015 and it doesn't have that feature. Only comes on in reverse.

Boy I have no idea how I missed this for a few months!

I bet you’re right on the side mirrors, maybe they can eliminate blind spots completely.

I had a aftermarket Pioneer unit that would let you see the rear view anytime a few years ago, it was pretty slick!
