I have a Blackvue DR-750S 2CH and installed it myself. Since I didn't want to go to the engine bay fuse box through the firewall or have any wiring visible when opening the passenger door, I decided to use the trunk. Routed the rear cam hookup cable under the headliner on the driver side, all the way to the top center of the rear windshield, while the power cable is routed on the passenger side, first under the headliner, then behind the C pillar trim piece, down into the battery compartment via a suitable opening at the bottom of the pillar (I used a rigid plastic stick and attached the cable with painter's tape to guide it in), finally down into the trunk where the fuse box is. Having no idea whether this would actually be feasible, I had used a wireless endoscope camera to discover the area first.
Since I didn't want too much excess wire in the trunk, I started routing the power cable from there, but if I did it again, I would try to start from the front cam, because the way I did it there is about a foot and a half of excess that I had to tuck under the headliner close to the front cam.
The PowerMagic Pro box is attached to the frame under the trunk liner using double-sided sticky tape, and I also sheathed all wiring in the trunk area with a braided sleeve + adhesive fabric wire tape for improved looks and just in case water ever leaks in.
Here are two pictures of my wiring into the trunk fuse box:
https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=35. The bolt I used for grounding is a bit too large for the wire lug on the ground wire that comes with the camera, so I broadened the lug opening it a bit before bolting it down.
I'm not saying these two fuses I used for constant and switched 12V are the definitive or recommended choices, but it has worked for me since April without any errors.
Overall, this was a relatively easy install, and without trying to toot my own horn, it looks near OEM, nothing is exposed anywhere, the braided wiring is a perfect match, the only telltale sign is the fuse taps when one opens the fuse box, of course. I can take more pictures and post them tomorrow if you are uncertain about any of this.
Hope you get your package soon, have fun installing the dash cam
