wakespeak - Thank you very much for the writeup! I am going through this now, my LS3 has 49k miles. No apparent leak, only found it while changing oil. Small leak out of fitting - nothing on floor.
Question: You posted " I recommend replacing all three parts: hose to block fitting, hose, and hose to cooler fitting....."
"Part nos: 22912546 block to hose fitting. 22840081 hose. I did not replace the hose to oil cooler fitting"
Why did you decide not to replace oil cooler fitting? Do you need any sealant on the fitting, or just the gasket on the fittings?
