That is interesting...
I checked my parts box to see what Elite had sent me, and I do see a barbed straight fitting that has a smaller hole in it, I'm guessing it's a restrictor... They didn't put any instructions in the box, and I only have the picture diagram in the first post.
I'm guessing this restrictor must go on the clean side then?
Looks like you basically replicated the clean side separator in the oil cap, without the can part.
