CAMARO6 - View Single Post - Can satin hood wrap be removed without paint damage ?

I was entertaining this idea when I first got my car, but because the car sits so low I see some paint chips around my hood above the grill, I feel the wrap protects the hood paint.
Some say it helps with the glare from the sun, but I'm not sure if that is a fact or not, since I still have my wrap and haven't drove an SS without it...I can see how it might help with that though.
