Yes you can do both.
My recommended priorities for PPF:
1. Front Bumper
2. Headlights, splitter and DRL bezels if not included w/ Bumper.
3. In front of and behind the rear wheels
4. Hood
5. Rockers up to the body line in the door
6. Front fenders
7. Mirrors
8. A-pillars (all the way around the windshield on verts).
9. Doors
10. Rest of the car.
I went with Suntek Ultra and stopped at #8. Then put Gtechniq Crystal Serum Black and EXO on the entire car, including wheels.
If I were to do it again I would skip the spend on most of the ceramic and spend it instead to PPF the entire car and only do the EXO durable hydrophobic coating on the PPF. Ceramic is a waste of $$$ on top of PPF and tends to make very hard to remove water spots. Ceramic+hydrophobic on the wheels and grille is worthwhile, however.
