One of the biggest gains with the AP set is the loss of unspring weight! From the website:

"Shaves approximately 18 lbs. of unsprung weight from the nose vs. the OEM SS 1LE brake system, and approximately 28 lbs. vs. the ZL1 1LE brakes."

This is huge! Pair these brakes with Apex wheels and the gains are even bigger.
That makes sense, I would definitely add these brakes if money was no object and I was building a full track car, great track mod. I would do this as well as Magnuson 2650 and tune, removing interior, roll cage, racing seats and harness, bigger rear wing and splitter, and maybe MCS or Ohlins (GT4.R) 3 way suspension

Are 19" Apex ARC-8 flow formed wheels lighter than OEM ZLE forged? My 18x11, 18x12 Signature wheels are much lighter, removing/installing them is a breeze vs. the OEM ZLE 19s.
