More than a wash. The paint should be polished and free of swirls, and it should have a couple of passes with an awesome LSP, on the level of Pinnacle, Zymol, Swissol, etc.
Whatever method of detail that one chooses, the car should be exceptionally clean and the paint should shimmer and be as clear as a pool of wading water! This is my definition of a flawless detail.
Now don't get me wrong; I'm not necessarily saying that you should not do stripes or any other decoration, but merely giving you my opinion of what I expect from my babies. You have to be happy at the end of the day, so I advise to use very good judgement and
execute your plan flawlessly.
