The reason it shows on CarFax as an "accident" is because there was a police report associated to someone who said I hit their car while driving; but again, I cannot stress enough that it was settled in my favor with no penalties, points, and most importantly NO repairs done to the car! The other car owner had zero proof and neither of our cars had damage to prove his case; the person was trying to be smooth....!

As an aside, the scratch flaw mentioned is shown in the pictures above!

You know, I think it's wrong for Carfax to show something as simple as that on the record. Simply showing an incident can diminish the value. Oh, wait a minute, that's to the buyers advantage and in that case, I offer $25,000...lol. Only kidding of course. GLWS. I'm in limbo until I find out what will happen with my car.
