Coyote engines are garbage anyway. They're tapped out as far as power and reliability. Ford would have to up the displacement again and even then they'll be sacrificing reliability. Look at the Doodoo engine. That thing was swamped with issues at 526 HP. Meanwhile both GM and Dodge at 6.2 and 6.4 respectively are easily in the upper 400 HP range without any of those issues. And they could still go higher in HP or increase displacement. I doubt Ford can push past 480 HP on a non-special edition non-limited production Mustang and get away with it. They'll be blowing up left and right worse than the GT350s did.
