We took delivery of our 2022 2SS early this afternoon. Been trying to get one since NOV2021. Part of the problem was the allocation system. Dealer finally got allocation for a 1SS, so he was able to finally work a dealer with another dealer near large metro that had a 2SS allocation. Was finally built the first week of June 2022, & we heard it was put on rail the last week of July 2022. I just happened to stop in, when the truck arrived.

The whole process has really been a pain, & seems like the companies would realize that they are going to pay at some point in the future, for making it so hard for the consumer/customers. A more open process & keeping the customer updated would help, but I don't think they really care anymore.

The airline situation is also bad. Just look at the weekly delays/cancellations. We booked a flight two months ago for the end of Oct 2022, & have already had 2 different changes, both in flights & when/where the routes go. Going to spend part of tomorrow trying to contact them again to see what can be straightened out.

The flights are just like the cars, for the prices we expect a better experience.

I'm close to calling it quits on flying altogether until this situation improves. One (non-US) airline even pulled a "we canceled your flight—no refunds, credit only—oh we're sorry, your credit can only be used on equivalent tickets—the ticket construct you purchased is no longer available—you are ****ed" trick on me, and several others had delays, random rebookings and missed flights.
