The airline situation is also bad. Just look at the weekly delays/cancellations. We booked a flight two months ago for the end of Oct 2022, & have already had 2 different changes, both in flights & when/where the routes go. Going to spend part of tomorrow trying to contact them again to see what can be straightened out.

The flights are just like the cars, for the prices we expect a better experience.
I'm close to calling it quits on flying altogether until this situation improves. One (non-US) airline even pulled a "we canceled your flight—no refunds, credit only—oh we're sorry, your credit can only be used on equivalent tickets—the ticket construct you purchased is no longer available—you are ****ed" trick on me, and several others had delays, random rebookings and missed flights.
