x-pipe here and while i didn't have a rattle at first a couple years ago, there is one lately. Seems to happen at idle ...and when accelerating from idle ...hard to hear it over the exhaust any other time.

All of the shielding around the exhaust is secure and dampened. I can't find anything loose related to the exhaust and it doesn't appear to touch anything. The sound appears to be originating up front somewhere.

The two secondary cats are mounted really close to eachother, but they seem welded apart so i can't imagine that they can touch eachother.

If it's not something internal to the exhaust system i have no clue what's causing it... maybe something resonating not near the ehxaust but due to it? I was worried torque converter was tapping the flywheel due to something coming loose. But it's very much related to the exhaust ...putting the car in idle/park lowers/stops the noise. Starting cold usually results in no rattle.
