They aren't a minority. Its a huge design flaw with the A8, EVERY A8 will have the issue. Some to a more noticable decree than others. Mine didn't start until about 25k miles. If yours hasn't started yet...just give it time, you WILL get the shudder, it isn't a matter of if...but when.

And to add to your point,how many folks have the shudder and aren't members of this forum,or any forum.This thread and forum saved me from an A8 back in January,for which I am grateful.
