Hello all;

I just purchased a new (well... new to me) 2017 SS 1LE (HBM). It was, by far, the car that spoke to me personally. In fact, I haven't even picked it up yet (doing that today).

While I was happy about everything in the car and the only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have cooled seats (I live in Houston... this is a necessity). Well luckily I found the 1LE cooled seats thread, which then led me to the kit on 5GenDIY and I cannot express how happy this made me! The kit arrives on Wednesday and it's going into the car on Saturday.

Other than that, my history is about 30 years of modifying my cars, the most recent ones being an STi, a Mazdaspeed 3, a Jaguar XF-R, and most recently an Audi RS5. With the kids grown I wanted a coupe and I wanted a manual. Didn't want a Mustang because I have no interest in crashing into crowds, didn't want an M3 or M4 simply because of the douchebaggery vibe. So that left the SS with the 1LE and I'm very happy with my choice.
