I know most of you probably already know this, but if you don't, try competition mode in track mode for IMMEDIATE throttle response (my car is A8)! It has to be in track mode, even using competition mode in sport mode will give you a significant lag.
Just try a 35MPH second gear WOT pull, it's almost an entire second delay in sport but instant in track. It's also not just the lag, but some difference in power delivery. In sport, first it's the one second delay, then the power comes, but kind of gradual and soft, it's like you can feel the torque builds up from 300 lb-ft to 455 lb-ft in half a second, but in track, bang, all the 455 lb-ft the moment you floor it.
Just started daily driving with competition mode and discovered this, try it if you haven't already and were not satisfied about throttle response of this car like I did!
