No clear on it, stock SS hood. All I do is wash it with meticulous matte from chemical guys. One pass like a rinseless and then some light "scrubbing" if I drove it in the rain. Two years old and still looks flawless! Just wondering if it's safe on bare satin paint when I do the rest of the car
