Yes the engine will break in even more with more miles and run stronger it seems. My ZL1 was that way and the 2016 2SS was that way too. My old 2010 LS3 really woke up after break in miles were over and ran a lot better. Use the recommended oil weight for your Camaro and go by the oil change intervals listed in the owners manual.
