ALSO update TODAY Zl1 style side skirts EOS INSTALLED
After the DYNO fun was over, I installed some EOS ZL1 style side skirts. These skirts come with 15 pre-drilled holes in each skirt and some double sided tape. The DONT come with screws.
My suggestion is NOT use the tape or screws. I used BALLON pop-rivets in the pre-drilled holes and added about 10 more per side. They are VERY sturdy if you use the pop rivets. Since you drilling 3/16th inch holes in the EXISITING rocker panels PRIOR to using your pop rivet gun you DONT have to worry about rust issues since the rivets are aluminum and you ARE NOT going thru metal.
UPDATE 5/14
Forgot to mention that it is a good idea to use vinyl door edge guard material to protect the EDGES of the carbon fiber so that it provides at least some protection should you catch it on something. Look at the LAST PIC in this post to see how that should be instqlled. You will need about 14 feet of door edge material. In addition it gives it a finished look. If it is NOT hard to press on then find some that is so that it doesnt work itself off. Look closely in the last picture at the bottom edge of the skirt that points to the ground and you will see the BLACK door edge guard molding I used. It also comes in a carbon fiber color but the weave doesnt match the skirt which is why I used BLACK. I got mine at OREILLYS. It comes in a 15 foot roll.
The fit is GOOD. PICS below.
