Pulling the fuse to keep the Exhaust valves CLOSED
Most of the chatter on here has been about keeping the car loud.
I was booted from the track last season for the car being too loud with just headers and stock exhaust.
Car is an 18' 1LE with a heartbeat supercharger setup (TVS 2300) pushing high 600s to the wheels.
The reason I state this is that it lost about 30whp just going from the corsa exhaust to the stock exhaust. With the butterflies closed I'm worried about creating too much backpressure. I've seen thin wall racing mufflers essentially explode before. The stock exhaust isn't thin wall, but you get what I mean.
I don't mind the car being down on some power, it has way more then enough for the track as is. I just don't want to damage anything.
Which fuse is it again btw?
Thanks guys
