I thought it was a bad pcv, amongst other things which I replaced. Scoping the cylinder walls, noticed more wear in regards to less cross hatching, compared to the other two cars. My car ran fine and so I didn't want to do a compression test because if I would have found lower compression, I know I would have rebuilt the entire motor.
Running three of the same cars, in the same area, with the same mileage, and the only difference being an aftermarket K&N. My car showed signs of compression loss (oil consumption, slightly worse fuel mileage).
