No doubt the ZL1 will best it in most/all categories performance wise. The CT5-V will be better for hauling multiple people like the ZL1 cannot. I've always said the ZL1 is a 2 seat car but GM takes $20k off a Z06 price to compensate you for the extra 500 pounds over the Vette.
