Two years ago I sold my 1996 Impala SS that had just under 10K on the clock. Over the years I had done some extensive modifications such as converting her over to a six speed, 373 gears, removing the engine and professionally rebuilding for turbo application, added Bonneville seats, rare 1990 ZR1 wheels, and much much more. I sold the Impala SS for more than I paid for her new but less than what I had spent with the modifications. Even though all the modifications were as functional and appealing as if they came of the assembly line I believe I would have gotten the same money without all the expensive mods. Just saying.
