For a part that's well engineered, thought out and tested, the wait is worth it.
If it misses "Oh honey I got it.... on sale! Yeah! For black friday!" it gets to the Xmas list. If it goes past that, you just return sweaters and socks and use the cash back for car parts.
Past that and it's tax refund season!
