If you launch off the limiter with a manual and slicks and dead hook good luck. It wouldn't take that for long if it all. Would need upgraded axles at minimum and probably driveshaft too

The launch control trick isn't nearly as hard on the car as a 4000 rpm clutch drop though. IMO anybody drag racing these cars a lot should do an axle upgrade. Especially since the new 6th gen ZL1 axles (which are much stronger) can be had for under $500 and aren't that hard to swap out. My car won't see much drag strip action, but will see lots of autocross action, so I will be doing it just for the piece of mind...
