Disconnect the negative battery cable.



Look under the hood, on the right side of the fire wall is a large red wire, (battery cable), that penetrates the firewall, with a nice rubber grommet.

I pierced the grommet and fed a piece of small mechanics wire through the hole. A friend was inside to get it and pull it through a bit.

We then pulled two wires back through the pierced grommet. That is the hardest part of the whole project.

Once into the engine compartment we ran it over the top of the ABS tubing and through the inter part of the frame where the WW washer bottle passes.

Along the top of the inter fender, under the fuse block to the ground lug on frame, and the other wire, 12V feed, into the fuse block cover where we had put a rubber grommet.


I used F40 as F39 is not populated so the fuses do not cover another fuse. F40 is REC IGN. Not sure what that means, but it is a switched circuit.


Covered everything with braided loom, looks good, what can be seen.

On the inside we ran around the top and behind the kick panel to the end of the dash, plastic cover just pulls off.

Up the "A" pillar, which the cover was pulled loose partially, then into the headliner.

Along the head liner to the mirror. I pulled the plastic box off the front sensor and continued along the head liner and dropped it out just past the mirror. See pics.


The only panel you need to remove is the one at the end of the dash. The picture of it has a red arrow on it.


Then the "A" pillar cover, I just pulled it back enough to run the wire around the top under the head liner. Running under the headliner to the mirror.


In the first picture the red arrow is pointing to the small blue wire where it goes through the firewall grommet.
