This looks repairable to my amateur eyes, definitely not a total loss, especially if the shop confirms there is no frame damage. There are probably extremely few F1FTY Camaros across the pond, it would be a damn shame to lose one.
Sucks big time and (unfortunately) I know how it feels... but perhaps it was you being too slow and not the other guy too fast?
