Why Potholes Suck 101

After catching a pothole that I could not avoid, and spending nearly a year...you heard that right. Taking it to several shops because I was the only one on the planet that could feel the vibration in the car.

I discovered:

1. All 4 tires had shifted belts = replaced
2. Both rear bearings were bad = replaced
3. Rear passenger half shaft bent = replaced
4. Rear Driver wheel bent = figuring out options

So with number 4 my question do I dare let someone try to straighten it, or should I buy a new wheel. Only problem I have is the 800.00 dollar price of a wheel. Does anyone know if this can be claimed on insurance, I just wouldnt tell them when it happen and make it seem recent.
