Congrats on the new car. I too came from an F80 M3 (2017 ZCP). Mine was a manual though and the two cars felt pretty close to me. I drove the DCT version of several M cars at the M Perfomance Driving School and I think the DCT transmission makes a big difference. They really did a good job with that engine/transmission combo on the M3/M4.
