I'm doing same. I have buddy who owns engine speed shop and does a bunch of drag racing with higher hp vehicles than we have. Advice is we don't NEED bead lock rims. Obviously, if one wants them, different story. I have about +150 HP over stock on my '18ZL1 too, so i have been asking the question.

I'm only going to drag a few times a year, so just looking at rears. I'm going with Forgestars (there's a vendor on here selling at good price) 17 x 11. Going with the MT ET Street R 305/45/17. Goal here is to keep close to stock diameter so no stabilitrak codes. I'm going with the 17" setup to allow a little more sidewall flex than an '18 or 20" rim. I hear the 15" version requires a caliper change. Not for me... THis 17" rim is supposed to clear our brembos.
